About LumiLand Learning
Bright, happy learning songs for toddlers and preschoolers, made in Canada.
LumiLand Learning is a Canadian YouTube channel (@LumiLandLearning) of 3D animated learning songs for toddlers and preschoolers, featuring Lumi and friends singing the alphabet, colours, numbers, shapes and animals.
Who we are
LumiLand is an independent children's channel based in Ontario, Canada. We make bright, happy learning songs for toddlers and preschoolers, and the families who sing along with them. Our world is a sunny garden where Lumi and her friends Ray, Bobo, Mimi, Tuki and Nina discover letters, colours, numbers, shapes and animals together.
What we believe
- Curious. We wonder, look closely and discover together.
- Kind. Gentle friends who share, help and cheer each other on.
- Musical. Every idea becomes a song little ones can sing back.
- Together. Made for singing with a grown-up, not just watching alone.
How we choose what to teach
Every episode starts with one clear learning goal for little ones, like the alphabet, the colours of the rainbow or counting to ten. Each song repeats its key words, pauses so children can answer, and adds a movement or game so the learning sticks. Before a song is released, we check every letter, number, colour and word.
Our standards
- Sources. Health and development guidance on this site is quoted word for word from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Canadian Paediatric Society, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization, with a link to the original page.
- Checking. The LumiLand team re-checks every quoted source at least every six months and whenever a source is updated. Each parent tip shows the date its sources were last checked.
- Not medical advice. Our parent tips are general information for families. If you have any worries about your child's development, talk to your doctor or child health nurse.
- Corrections. Spotted a mistake? Email lumiland353@gmail.com. We fix errors promptly and update the date on the page.
- Nothing for sale. We sell nothing, take no sponsors and run no ads on this website.
